Patti Panebianco - New York

Patti’s dynamic energy & charisma has allowed her to become a sought after adjudicator & invigilator for numerous NDCA & USA Dance competitions as well as being the former treasurer & national committee member for the US Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. She is the recipient of numerous championship titles in both Int’l Latin & American Rhythm styles. She has choreographed & performed in various stage, TV & movie productions, throughout the world including A Tribute to Gershwin, Wallflowering, Marconi Brothers, All my Children & Yo’Yo Ma’s Soul of the Tango.
Working with children brings joy to her soul; she is a former Teaching Artist & Educational Liason with Dancing Classrooms Long Island. And has recently volunteered her time judging The Colors of the Rainbow Team Match for DCLI.
She holds licentiate certifications in all styles of dance and is a popular trainer for professionals & amateurs for their national certifications with the U.S.I.S.T.D
For the Past 17 years she has been the founder & owner of NY Dancesport Centre on Long Island where she currently resides with her husband Anthony and her two rescue cats Dolly & Puca. She enjoys touring the country coaching, adjudicating & sharing her joy & knowledge of Ballroom dance.

Daniel Calloway Adjudicator - Bethesda, MD

Dan has been competing professionally, coaching and judging for thirty-five years, repeatedly earning the distinctions of “Professional of the Year” and “Top Teacher” at many national level events and within numerous dance organizations. He is an Asian-Pacific and United States Professional 10-Dance Grand Finalist. In 1985 Dan was the youngest Dual Fellow in the world with highly commended fellowships in the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, the London-based society, which embodies the world’s acknowledged leaders of the dance profession. He was invited by President and Mrs. Obama to perform for them and their guests of the international diplomatic corps at the White House in 2009. He has served as the Chairman of Judges at the North American and USA Dance United States National DanceSport Championships and many other national level events. Dan is also the DanceSport coach for the competitive DanceSport teams at Georgetown University and the University of Maryland, as well as serving as guest coach at numerous other universities, congresses, and dance camps, including moderating the professional discussion panels at key events in the United States.  

Marie Crowder Adjudicator - Eden, NC
Marie is a four time USA Dance Amateur Champion in Latin and a 3-time USA representative to the WDSF World Latin Championships. Marie has won numerous Regional Standard and Latin Championship titles and was a Standard finalist in the USA DanceSport National Championships.

Marie is a Championship Adjudicator and a proud member of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (the ISTD), with Licentiate degrees in all 5 styles of dancing. 

Bill Davies Adjudicator - New York, NY
Bill Davies Is currently celebrating more than fifty years as a dance teacher, competitor, DanceSport Coach and World Class Adjudicator. He is one of the founding US professionals of the Teacher Student competitions known as “Pro/Am” which have become the main stay of U.S. competitions in today’s world.

Bill was a member of the first, as well as several other United States teams which represented the United States at the British Ballroom Championships. In 1978 he placed eighth in the World Championships held in Tyoko Japan. He has won and been a finalist in numerous overseas championships. He is a nine time "North American Champion", a three times "United States Champion, runner up in the 1973 "United States American Style Championships," and has been a finalist in many Latin Championships.

He is currently teaching and coaching around the world and loves to social dance.
 

Wendi Davies Adjudicator - West Orange, NJ
Wendi began dancing while at Princeton studying architecture. In her amateur career she was ranked third in the United States. She turned professional in 1991 and went on to be ranked second at the US Championships, and was the winner of “Championship Ballroom Dancing.” She was the UK Rising Star Champion, Blackpool Rising Star Runner-up, US Representative to the Worlds and Blackpool team match, a finalist at the French Open and the US Open Championships and was ranked 13th in the world. She was a co-owner and operator of Ballroom on Fifth in New York City for 12 years. She is currently a co-owner and operator of the New Jersey DancSport Classic competitions 

Viktoriya Drubetskaya Adjudicator - Brooklyn, NY
  Viktoriya was born in Moldova and came to the US in 1991. She started dancing and acrobatics when she was five. She held the titles of United States Professional National Rhythm Finalist, US Rising Star Latin Champion and UK Rising Star Latin Finalist. She was also a two-time World Mambo Champion. She has been Certified in LOD (language of dance stage 1 and 2) and CMA (certified movement analyst) at the Laban Institute of Movement Studies in New York. She has recently been awarded Grand Master of Dance Degree by Dvida in Ballroom and Latin. Currently, she is working with junior competitors and has trained couples to become US Amateur Junior I and Junior II Latin Champions. 

Ian Folker Adjudicator - Decarur, GA
Former World and British Professional Exhibition Championship Finalist, Eastern United States Professional Latin and 10 Dance Champion. Member USA Dance, NDCA, ISTD, NADTA, DVIDA, WDC, IDSF, Regional Examiner for DVIDA. Ian started dancing at the age of 12 in his native germany where he competed in International Standard and Latin. Since retiring from competitive dancing in 1998 he frequently travels throughout the U.S.. Europe and Asia. He is an international adjudicator licenced with WDC and IDSF 

Pamela Kazimir Adjudicator - Fairfield, NJ
  Pamela Kazimir competitive training has been in both the International and American Styles. She was a 2001 World Mambo Finalist and ranked 4th in the 2004 United States Professional American 9-Dance division. In 2008 Pamela and former partner Azamat Evgamukov were United States Professional Rising Star American Rhythm Finalist as well as silver medalists in the 2008 World Professional Salsa Championship held in Puerto Rico. Along with her competitive accomplishments she is also currently an adjunct professor at Montclair State University teaching their 245-Dance Class on World Dance: Latin Dancing section and PEGN-271 Social Dance Class and works with the Cornell Ballroom Team.

Maria Manusova Adjudicator - brooklyn, NY
  Maria, along with partner Eugene Katsevmen, is the 11 time Undefeated US National Champion, World Games Gold Medalist, IDSF Grand Slam Winner, Professional British Open and World Championship Finalist. Owner of Brooklyn DanceSport Club opening January of 2011.  

Stanley McCalla Adjudicator - Suffern, NY
  Stanley McCalla is a World Class Adjudicator and highly sought-after coach. He is presently the official coach for New York University and Columbia University. He holds the highest levels of accreditation from both FADS and the ISTD. As a competitor he was: US professional 10 dance Finalist, US smooth finalist, Fred Astaire National undefeated champion, four-time United States Amateur Champion in Latin, Standard and 10 Dances. He represented the USA at the World Championships in Latin, Standard, and 10-Dances. 

Larinda McRaven Adjudicator - Jefferson City, MO
North American Champion, World Finalist, Four Times US Open Finalist, and Four Time Ohio Star Ball Finalist, Yankee Classic Champion, Florida State Champion, Manhattan Dancesport Champion, La Classique du Quebec Champion, La Classique du Quebec Showdance Champion, and Capital Dancesport Champion, United States Top Rising Star Couple, USDC Top Smooth Teacher. Larinda holds a total of almost 200 Professional Wins and Titles. She is Championship Certified as an Adjudicator with the NDCA and Vice President of the PDF-Professional Dancers Federation. .



 

Brent Mills Adjudicator - Arizona
Brent Thomas Mills and “Sound Stream are the music coordinators for over 50 different DanceSport events nationwide. To name a few; The Ohio Star Ball, United States Dancesport Championships in Orlando, San Francisco Open and others. Brent also coordinated all of the music for “America’s Ballroom Challenge” on PBS this past season and played many of his own compositions for the professional finals. Brent is also the lead designer/consultant for the reality hit TV show “So You Think You Can Dance”, now beginning the third season with Fox Entertainment

WDSF Certified Adjudicator and NDCA National Judge. Spencer started his dance career at the age of 12 and competed as a Junior, Youth, and Adult Amateur before turning professional.
With over 30 years of competitive ballroom dancing experience,
Spencer travels as an adjudicator, coach and choreographer. He teaches
American and International styles of dance, competitive as well as social dance for
children and adults.
He is the co-organizer of the United States Junior DanceSport Alliance and Nyemchek’s Junior All-Star DanceSport Championships.

Ilya Reyzin Adjudicator - Philadelphia, PA
Ilya Reyzin began dancing at the age of five in Russia. By eleven, he was 2nd in the junior division of the Open Russian National Championship. Over the next several years he represented Russia in the multiple international championships achieving top placements in the Latin & Standard divisions. At sixteen, he represented Russia in the World 10-Dance Championship in Austria & finished in the top 10.
In 1997, Ilya immigrated to the United States & for the next eight years competed across the country in the Amateur Latin and Standard divisions, placing as an Amateur US National 10-Dance finalist four years in a row.
Ilya has received top placements as a Professional in the American Rhythm, American Smooth & Showdance Divisions. Ilya is sponsored by Dore Designs, Dancelife USA & Anabell’s Dancewear. He is also the owner of American Star Ball Championships & Rhythm DanceSport Center.
Ilya is an NADTA certified adjudicator in International Latin, International Ballroom, American Rhythm & American Smooth.  

Edward Simon Adjudicator - New York, NY
Edward Simon is a United States American Ballroom Champion, World Showdance Finalist, and US Theatrical Finalist. He is a guest choreographer on the hit TV series " So You Think You Can Dance?" He is also co-creator of a show about the behind the scenes of ballroom" for the New Jersey State Theater to go on a nationwide tour in 2011. Edward is a Co-organizer of the New York Dance Festival in February and the Empire State Dancesport Championships in August.
 

JT Thomas Adjudicator - Charlotte, NC
  JT Thomas is a two-time US and World Smooth Champion. She has been studying dance since the age 7, including earning a BFA in dance from the University of Arizona. She has competed professionally in Rhythm, Latin, Smooth and Theatre Arts. JT and partner, Tomas Mielnicki, have performed shows at numerous prestigious competitions around the US, Mexico and Poland. They were featured performers on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, and in the Disney movie Enchanted. She was also a choreographer for the Fox show So You Think You Can Dance. JT currently coaches ballroom dance and produces shows around the country.

Glenn judges on a regular basis a at the International in London, the German Masters in Frankfurt, the Japan Open in Tokyo, USDSC in Florida, Ohio Star Ball and other Northern American, European and Asian competitions throughout the year 

Lori Woods Gay Adjudicator - Skillman, NJ
Lori comes from an extraordinary background of academic, administrative, and artistic experience. Her outstanding success at a championship level in Theatre Arts and American Ballroom is co-related to her history as a recognized “Technique Diva,” much of her invaluable knowledge being derived from her considerable study time with the legendary Elizabeth Romain. She is one of the very few Imperial members who hold a Fellowship degree in all five branches and consistently administers professional exams in all styles in her capacity as an examiner.

Lori’s expertise as an administrator gained from her collaboration with the late John Monte in organizing the U.S. Championships and her 8 years of service to the National Dance Council of America as a member of the Executive Committee fit her admirably for her most recent role as former President of the USISTD.

  Sami started to dance at the age of 10 in his native country Finland. During his career he achieved numerous international and national titles including 15 Finnish National Championships titles. In addition, he is World & European 10 Dance Finalist in the professional division. Sami is a teacher with busy schedule in the U.S. and around the World. David Don Chairman - Port Saint Lucie, FL
  David has been professionally competing and teaching since 1983 and is accredited by the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and the North American DanceSport Teachers Association (NADTA). His extensive training has come from the top coaches in the United States and England, and his experience has encompassed every aspect of DanceSport from professional competition to teaching dance at every level. Presently he coaches, adjudicates and scrutineers at various competitions around the country. David also organizes the Tri-State Challenge Dance Competition held every March in Connecticut

Yang Chen Emcee - New York
Yang Chen has been dancing for more than twenty years and is currently the President of the Greater New York USA Dance Chapter. Yang has extensive experience as a Master of Ceremonies of many ballroom competitions including the Manhattan Amateur Classic, NJ DanceSport Classic, National Qualifying Events in Bethesda, Maryland, Knoxville, Tennessee and Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the USA Dance National Championships and numerous collegiate events, including the DC DanceSport Inferno. He lives in New York City, and yes, his first name is pronounced “young.” 

Meredith Stead Emcee - New York, NY
  Meredith Stead holds a BFA in dance from CalArts. She ran her own studio, Shall We Dance, in New York City for over a decade, together with her husband John Knapp. Before owning her own studio, she taught at Stepping Out Studios, Sandra Cameron Dance Center, and the 92nd Street YMHA. John and Meredith were finalists or titleholders in dance styles as varied as American Smooth, West Coast Swing, Teams, and Country-Western (at the Masters level). Meredith has choreography and consulting credits for Broadway shows (Swing!) and video games (Britney’s Dance Beat), as well as numerous television and film appearances.

She has taught frequently for Lincoln Center’s Midsummer Night’s Swing.

Meredith retired from full-time dancing and teaching in 2003 to attend law school. She now splits her time between dancing and practicing tax and trusts & estates law at a New York City firm.

She has emceed at various dance events. 

Ily Zislin Emcee - New York
Ily has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Mid-Eastern Chapter of USA Dance. He was the organizer for DC DanceSport Inferno for four years. He is also been the organizer of Championship Dance Camps and Dance Legends. Ily has EmCeed at such competitions as DC DanceSport Inferno, Clover Star Classic, NJ Dancesport Classic, Northeast Regional Championships as well as the USA Dance Collegiate Nationals.

David Innis Music Director - Port Saint Lucie, FL
David is a former instructor for both franchised and independent studios with a passion for music. David has merged his passion and love for dance and music and has become one of the top Dancesport Music Directors in the country. He currently provides music for over 30 competitions annually, including the Ohio Star Ball. David was also chosen as the Music Director for the 2010 IDSF World Latin Championships. 

Mark Tabor Scrutineer - Fort Worth, TX   
    NDCA+USA Dance+WDSF - Scrutineer
Introduced to ballroom dancing in 1993, Mark became involved in competition, and competed for over 15 years. Beginning in 2000, he organized 18 chapter competitions and Six USA Dance Regional Competitions. Throughout this experience, he developed the O2CM system for DanceSport competition management and began scrutineering. Mark moved to Oregon and began teaching at The Ballroom Dance Company in 2008. In 2013, Moved to Fort Worth Texas to better serve O2CM clients across the country at events nearly every other week. He works all levels of events as a scrutineer, including NDCA pro/am events, USA Dance National Championships and WDSF World Championship and World Cups.
