Mark Barth Adjudicator - Rockville Centre, NY

Mark’s public dance accolades are diverse. His professional records include: Eastern U.S. Rising Star Modern Champions, Southeastern States Ballroom Champions, finalists Rising Star, United States Championships, Florida, Finalists Rising Star Modern Championships, Ohio Star Ball, Finalists at the Heritage Classic, North Carolina etc.

He has performed and given shows at various dance competitions, stage productions and special events throughout the U.S. He has been on national T.V. Channels 7 & 12 in the New York area and also taught for the Cable network on the Latin Channel. He has taught at many venues in the U.S. and England, and have taught and assisted in numerous Professional Congresses for Professionals in the U.S. including assisting Elizabeth Romaine in the Congress presentation of the new ISTD Latin Syllabus here in America.

Mark now splits his time between teaching students, giving lectures, organizing shows, judging and also competing in Pro/Am competitions throughout the U.S. Mostly he operates the Silva Dance with his partner Gwen Silva giving their years of experience to their students. Today his professional services are even more important, as he is helping to guide and develop the dancers of tomorrow.
 

Amy Block_Hamilton Adjudicator - West Orange, NJ
  Amy has enjoyed a successful career as a top competitor and performer in the United States and internationally. Among her achievements are Grand Finalist in all major National Standard Championships and Champion in numerous regional competitions. Amy is a National and World Class Adjudicator, a Member of the ISTD, and holds a Masters Degree in Dance from New York University. Many top professional, amateur, and pro-am dancers credit their training to her. Currently, Amy lives in New Jersey and coaches mainly in the tri-state area. 

Inna Brayer Adjudicator - NY   
    NDCA+USA Dance - A+ B+ C+ D+ E+
Inna Brayer, a native of Moscow Russia, is the 3 time United States National Ten Dance Champion and a National Certified Adjudicator holding fellowship level accreditation from the N.A.D.T.A. As an ambassador and World Team Member representing the United States she has been ranked as high as ninth in the world, competing in six World Championships. Inna participated as a dancer on Season 7 of ABC-TV’s “Dancing with the Stars” and was partnered with actor Ted McGinley. In 2008 Inna represented USA Dance, Inc. when she was featured on ABC-TV’s “Good Morning America” discussing the upcoming National Championships and the benefits of ballroom dancing. She also served as the choreographer for the Rutgers University Ballroom Dance Team performance on Season 9 of “Dancing with the Stars.” As a coach her students have achieved high placements in many national and international competitions including winning Junior Latin National Championships. Off the dance floor she is actively involved with USA Dance as a DanceSport Delegate, member of the Governing Council, and DanceSport Council. Outside of dance she holds a B.A. in English and Education from the Hunter College Quest School of Education. 

Daniel Calloway Adjudicator - Bethesda, MD

Dan has been competing professionally, coaching and judging for thirty-five years, repeatedly earning the distinctions of “Professional of the Year” and “Top Teacher” at many national level events and within numerous dance organizations. He is an Asian-Pacific and United States Professional 10-Dance Grand Finalist. In 1985 Dan was the youngest Dual Fellow in the world with highly commended fellowships in the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, the London-based society, which embodies the world’s acknowledged leaders of the dance profession. He was invited by President and Mrs. Obama to perform for them and their guests of the international diplomatic corps at the White House in 2009. He has served as the Chairman of Judges at the North American and USA Dance United States National DanceSport Championships and many other national level events. Dan is also the DanceSport coach for the competitive DanceSport teams at Georgetown University and the University of Maryland, as well as serving as guest coach at numerous other universities, congresses, and dance camps, including moderating the professional discussion panels at key events in the United States.  

Wayne Crowder Adjudicator - Eden, NC

Wayne Crowder F.I.S.T.D Wayne is a four time USA Dance Amateur Champion in Latin and a 3-time USA representative to the WDSF World Latin Championships. Wayne has won numerous Regional Standard and Latin Championship titles and was a Standard finalist in the USA DanceSport National Championships.
Wayne is a WDSF Adjudicator, Professional Division Adjudicator, National Certified Adjudicator and a Fellow Member of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (the ISTD).
Wayne served two terms as the President of the United States Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. He currently serves on the Dancesport Council of USA Dance as Chair of Certifications as well as the WDSF Adviser to the President of USA Dance.
 

Bill Davies Adjudicator - New York, NY   
    NDCA+USA Dance+WDSF+WDC - A+ B+ C+ D+ E+
Bill Davies Is currently celebrating more than fifty years as a dance teacher, competitor, DanceSport Coach and World Class Adjudicator. He is one of the founding US professionals of the Teacher Student competitions known as “Pro/Am” which have become the main stay of U.S. competitions in today’s world.

Bill was a member of the first, as well as several other United States teams which represented the United States at the British Ballroom Championships. In 1978 he placed eighth in the World Championships held in Tyoko Japan. He has won and been a finalist in numerous overseas championships. He is a nine time "North American Champion", a three times "United States Champion, runner up in the 1973 "United States American Style Championships," and has been a finalist in many Latin Championships.

He is currently teaching and coaching around the world and loves to social dance.
 

Wendi Davies Adjudicator - West Orange, NJ
Wendi began dancing while at Princeton studying architecture. In her amateur career she was ranked third in the United States. She turned professional in 1991 and went on to be ranked second at the US Championships, and was the winner of “Championship Ballroom Dancing.” She was the UK Rising Star Champion, Blackpool Rising Star Runner-up, US Representative to the Worlds and Blackpool team match, a finalist at the French Open and the US Open Championships and was ranked 13th in the world. She was a co-owner and operator of Ballroom on Fifth in New York City for 12 years. She is currently a co-owner and operator of the New Jersey DancSport Classic competitions 

Randall Deats Adjudicator - Warwick, RI
Mr. Deats is a fully certified championship level judge with the NDCA. He judges many ballroom competitions; collegiate, regional and national. He was a featured instructor at the USA Dance National Championships.

Randy also is frequently seen as Master of Ceremonies of many competitions throughout the United States.He is an instructor for the University of Rhode Island Ballroom Dance Club and co-Head Coach of the Rhode Island College Ballroom Dance Club. 

Shawn Fisher Adjudicator - Idaho
  Shawn Fisher has coached several collegiate ballroom teams and instructed thousands of college dancers. His teams and dancers have won many competitions including several national titles. He is a lifetime member of and certified with DVIDA. He has served as the USA Dance Vice President of the Youth College Network and as a member of the Governing Council. He is the founder of the U.S. Ballroom Foundation and the editor of the American Dancer magazine. Currently he serves as a national dance director for the National League of Junior Cotillions, and is the director of the ballroom dance program at Brigham Young University-Idaho. 

Irina Gorolevici Adjudicator - MA

Professional dancer, choreographer, coach.
Originally Irina is from Kazakhstan. She started dancing at the age of 8. When Irina was twelve, she was a Bronze medalist at her First National Championship in International Standard, Vice Champion in International Latin, and Ten Dance National Champion in Kazakhstan. Since then Irina has won the National Championship four times. At the age of sixteen, Irina moved to Russia to develop her dancing and education. She studied at the Tymen Academy of Art and Choreography and also competed all over the world. Their current coaches are some of the best coaches in the world.Irina and her partner Anatoli are finalists in all the major competitions in the United States today.

Winner of International Standard division at the Asian-Pacific Championships in China.

Jennifer Ford McCalla Adjudicator - Suffern, NY
  Jennifer McCalla is a World Class Adjudicator and highly sought-after coach. She holds the highest levels of accreditation from both FADS and the ISTD. As a competitor she was four-time United States Amateur Champion and represented the US in Latin, Standard, and 10-Dance Championhsips. She was undefeated Fred Astaire National Champions in Smooth from 1995-1997 and won many Rising Star Championship Titles at Eastern US and US in Standard, Latin, and Smooth, along with Smooth Rising Star Titles at Ohio Star, Breakers, and the Texas Challenge. 

Steven Mesh Adjudicator -

Steven Mesh is a professional ballroom dancer, coach, adjudicator, and choreographer. He has top placements at a number of major dancesport competitions nationally, and has traveled to represent the United States in international competitions. He has worked with many world recognized coaches and has achieved fellowship level accreditation from the N.A.D.T.A. in both adjudicating and teaching.  In 2004 he opened Spotlight Dance Center, which grew into one of the leading dance studios in the Philadelphia and South Jersey area. He has coached several top couples in the world of competitive Ballroom and Latin dance. He is also the founder of Project Spotlight, a non profit development program for elementary, middle, and high school students that uses ballroom dancing as a vehicle to change the lives of the children and their families reaching thousands of children each year.

Mark Nocera Adjudicator - Nahant, MA
  Mark Nocera has been in the ballroom dance industry for 35 years. In that time he has competed and performed all over the world. Along with his wife Dawna, his titles include North American Champion, United States Vice Champion,and United Kingdom Finalist. They have also appeared many times on television including being featured on ABC’s 20/20 and Chronicle. Following a very successful competitive career which brought them all the way to representing the U.S. at the World Championships, Mark and Dawna continued their endeavor for excellence in the dance world. As the owners of Studio 665 in Woburn, MA, Mark and Dawna have coached many professional and amateur couples for over 25 years and have been awarded numerous top teacher and top studio awards at competitions all over the United States and Canada.

Mark is recognized as a World-class adjudicator by the National Dance Council of America, World Dancesport Council and he is a national examiner for DVIDA (Dance Vision International Dance Association).

Patti’s dynamic energy & charisma has allowed her to become a sought after adjudicator & invigilator for numerous NDCA & USA Dance competitions as well as being the former treasurer & national committee member for the US Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. She is the recipient of numerous championship titles in both Int’l Latin & American Rhythm styles. She has choreographed & performed in various stage, TV & movie productions, throughout the world including A Tribute to Gershwin, Wallflowering, Marconi Brothers, All my Children & Yo’Yo Ma’s Soul of the Tango.
Working with children brings joy to her soul; she is a former Teaching Artist & Educational Liason with Dancing Classrooms Long Island. And has recently volunteered her time judging The Colors of the Rainbow Team Match for DCLI.
She holds licentiate certifications in all styles of dance and is a popular trainer for professionals & amateurs for their national certifications with the U.S.I.S.T.D

Inez Sarah Sahlin Adjudicator - Naples FL

Inez Sahlin is a Licenciate of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and a member of USA Dance, World DanceSport Federation, NDCA, World Dance Council, Dance Teachers Club of Boston and CID (International Dance Council). As an acclaimed World Championship and National adjudicator she represents the United States judging World and Continental Championships, Cups and many other International, Open and National Championships and competitions. Her dance achievements include World Championship Finals, European Cup Semifinals, US Open Semifinals and numerous Championship titles. Mrs. Sahlin worked with the Star Dance (Dancing with the Stars) program in Czech Republic, appears on television as a consultant and advises and coaches other sport and art disciplines (skating, rhythmic gymnastics, theater productions). Kimberly Smith Adjudicator - Birmingham, AL

Kimberly Smith has been teaching dancing for 33 years and has owned and operated Dr. Dance Studio in Birmingham, Al for 27 years. Kim is a member of the National Committee and Treasurer of the United States Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing.
She is classified as a Championship Adjudicator and is a licensed WDSF official.

 

Yuehwern Yih Adjudicator - Indiana

Yuehwern has many years of dance training in Ballet and Ballroom. She was a principal company member of the Lafayette Ballet Company. Currently she is a Championship Certified Teacher and Adjudicator in all four styles by the North American Dance Teachers Association (NADTA), and a Certified Scrutineer with the National Dance Council of America (NDCA). In addition to competing professionally, she and her partner, Daniel Dilley, are the head coaches of the Purdue Latin & Ballroom Dance Team. In 2010, when the Team was invited to compete on Season 10 of Dancing with the Stars on Fox, Yuehwern and Daniel coached the dancers to a 1st round victory, and choreographed the outstanding Cha Cha for the finale. Yuehwern founded the Purdue Latin & Ballroom Dance Team and the Team is one of the top ranked teams nationally. Yuehwern and Daniel also organize an annual Purdue Classic Ballroom Competition, which attracts more than 400 collegiate ballroom dance competitors in the Midwest area.

Diane Samuelson is a former ballet dancer and ISTD certified instructor
from Annandale, VA. Her many years of experience with public speaking
and stage performance have given her a strong foundation for
competition and event emceeing, including for the USA Dance National
Dancesport Championships, the Mid-Atlantic regional NQE, and Manhattan
Amateur Classic. Diane regularly serves as invigilator for the
two yearly competitions at University of Maryland, BAM Jam and DC

David Innis Music Director - Port Saint Lucie, FL
David is a former instructor for both franchised and independent studios with a passion for music. David has merged his passion and love for dance and music and has become one of the top Dancesport Music Directors in the country. He currently provides music for over 30 competitions annually, including the Ohio Star Ball. David was also chosen as the Music Director for the 2010 IDSF World Latin Championships.

Championship Certified Adjudicator in all styles by the North American Dance Teachers Association (NADTA), and Certified Scrutineer with the National Dance Council of America (NDCA). As head coaches of the Purdue Latin & Ballroom Dance Team, Yuehwern and Daniel can currently be seen competing in Professional American Rhythm Events around the country. When the team was invited to compete on season 10 of Dancing with the Stars, they coached the dancers to a 1st round victory, and Choreographed the outstanding Cha Cha for the finale. Before ballroom, Daniel was dancing hip hop and breakdance and competing as a stage magician.
